Lake of the Ozarks in Virtual Reality

One step closer to Lake of the Ozarks Metaverse!

When we started this project, one of the first things we wanted to do with this game was to have a Virtual reality option, where players could get VR experience of driving a boat on Lake of the Ozarks. Recently we have been testing VR build for our game; it’s in the early phase and it won’t be finished for the first release, but it’s amazing to experience LOTO in a VR environment.

This Virtual reality version of Boat Life – Lake of the Ozarks, has limited functionality; you can walk around or teleport, look around and get on a boat. For this demo, the boat drives by himself, but we do plan to have full boat controls available in VR.
Just imagine; blasting down the lake with your friends or racing in top class speedboats, where you manage the boat’s throttle, while your pilot is a real speedboat driver who is connected on his end with his VR headset.

Or attending a virtual event on a virtual lake, virtual concert or just meeting fun and interesting people in a virtual Lake of the Ozarks environment. Possibilities are endless and this is just a start that gives a glimpse into the future of this amazing project!
